Application
Our 2-pair 22 AWG RS485 cable is a specialized, low-voltage, multi-conductor cable designed for RS485 communication, a standard for OSDP and serial data transmission known for its reliability over long distances and in noisy environments.
It consists of two twisted pairs (four conductors total), shielded, to support robust data transfer. Reliable communication over long runs, with the second pair for auxiliary signals or power. Supporting OSDP card readers at 120-ohms.
Our 2-pair design reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference (EMI). Our independantly RS485 cables are ideal for reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI) in environments with high electrical noise, such as near power lines or industrial equipment.
